Basic Invites – Feature: Veronica Young Photography
Man oh man these invitations are STUNNING! Veronica Young Photography really was able to capture some incredible images of these invites PERFECTION!
This was a stylized session put on by Veronica in St. Louis, MO. Basic Invites was introduced to Veronica when they saw her photography online. They really believed Veronica’s work was stunning and they were so impressed they reached out immediately. She gladly jumped on board as a Basic Invite Partner in 2017 and has been with them ever since. Veronica also refers Basic Invites to her clients and it is amazing! These two businesses built their relationship online, and continue to do so every day. “It’s amazing what the internet can provide in regards to business relationships with businesses and professionals located all over the country and even around the world!”
A word from our vendor
For us, interacting with our partners in more than one facet is huge! We love when we’re able to build close relationships with our partners and offer up resources to one another on a more personal and regular basis. So, when she said yes to collaborating on the styled shoot we were super excited! But the best part about this was seeing her work live and published. It’s always fun to see the creativity and end result. For Veronica, “I’m overall obsessed with wedding details including styling the stationery. It’s one of my fav parts of the wedding day. So, being able to do it at my own pace and just have fun with such beautiful pieces was super fun!”
A lesson that Veronica learned
“I learned how actually customizable everything is. I’ve ordered from Basic invite before, but never went into too much customization before.” Which means we learned that interacting with photographers and working together closely and more often benefits everyone because it gives our partners an opportunity to become more familiar with our brand and how things work which they can then pass onto their clients and brides.
A Tip from our Vendor
We are both on the same page when it comes to client tips in relation to wedding invitation details, but Veronica says it best, “Make a list of ALL the details you want photographed and put it all into a box or container. That way everything is together and ready for your photographer when they arrive and nothing gets lost or left behind! Also, if you love details as much as I do, make sure you allow for enough time in the wedding day timeline.” And when it comes to timelines prior to the big day, we always suggest that our couples and customers plan ahead and start the wedding invitation process as early as possible. That way, it gives them ample time to shop, design, and send their wedding invitations with minimal stress and maximum quality.
