When The Barn at Zion Mountain was built, times were much different. Cattle and horses roamed the land, electricity and modern conveniences were nowhere to be found, but the beauty of this land led many people to settle and live in the area just on the East border to Zion National Park.  Today you find that tourism has replaced ranching, and The Barn at Zion Mountain is the ideal place to hold your wedding.

If outdoor ceremonies are your thing, there are several sites to choose from. You can have a lakeside ceremony looking over the ducks, or how about an orchard ceremony surrounded by apple trees? Then your reception moves into a vintage red barn, complete with world class catering, waterfalls, and 2 floors of action, music and good ‘ol fashioned fun.

Now I know what you are thinking, this sounds great but how far away is this wonderland? This entire facility is only 50 miles East of I-15 and minutes away from Zion National Park.

Along with this incredible wedding venue, comes the ability for your friends and family to stay either at one of the large elegant homes on-site, or at the authentic Zion Mountain Ranch minutes away. The Zion Mountain Ranch is a 4 star accommodation complete with roaming bison, private cabins, and an organic working garden that feeds the Buffalo Grill restaurant.

The location on the East side of Zion makes this an ideal place to visit all of the area’s attractions including Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, and the North rim of the Grand Canyon.

With 4,300 square feet, The Garden Court has two distinct and individually decorated spaces.  Both The Garden Court Ballroom and the scenic, open-air Courtyard can accommodate anywhere from a small gathering to a maximum of 400 guests.  If need be, you can rent both spaces and your event can flow inside and outside as well.

The Garden Court Ballroom features a Four Seasons atmosphere under an arbored ceiling illuminated by ornate chandeliers.  The trellised walls and lush greenery lends a playful atmosphere to the room, while grand-scale floral arrangements also contribute to the welcoming tone.  This warm and gracious room can accommodate up to 350 guests for a seated dinner or buffet, and up to 450 for a stand-up reception.

The extraordinary indoor/outdoor design of each event space is what makes it extra special in creating a lovely and intimate atmosphere for your wedding guests.  The Garden Court Ballroom offers floor to ceiling trellises adorned with lush foliage running the length of the ballroom.  Ceremonies may begin in The Garden Court with guests adjourning in the open-air Courtyard where drinks and hors d’oeuvres await them.  The Ballroom can then be transformed from the ceremony into an elegant reception area.

Thanks to generous private donations, the Alumni House was built in 1996 as an institutional residence for the college president. Later the Dixie State College Board of Trustees approved the use of the institutional residence as the Alumni House.

The Alumni House is a charming and elegant location for all wedding events including ceremonies, receptions, luncheons, and dinners. Included with the rental is the Great Room, Brides Room, kitchen and dining area, patio, and the Truman Gardens.
